1.　Promote integration of production and research. Help to industrialize the research achievements from Chinese Academy of Sciences of the Institute and university research institutions. Now we have established a new material and new energy automobile lightweight components test products laboratory.
2.　Promote regional industrial upgrading. Relying on the advantages of Jiading District, the center established to support the development of three industries: ① new energy and new materials, ② the Internet of Things, ③ biological and medical technology equipment. The center focuses on high-tech enterprises in related areas to provide incubation services, tax policy and site technology support.
3.　 Set up a public technology platform, help small and medium enterprises to reduce development costs by using the technical advantages of CAS. Now center has established an advanced industrial design (CAE) Center, a new auto parts structural design service-oriented laboratory.
